This is F-Zero GX on GameCube emulated through Dolphin on the base $1,000 M1 MacBook Air 8GB at an internal resolution of 4x Native (2560 x 2112).

Not much was changed from default Dolphin settings. Vulkan backend, Force 16:9. There is an in-game widescreen setting that was enabled.

F-Zero GX ran really well overall on the M1 MacBook Air and looks fantastic. Most tracks rarely have a hint of slowdown. The only track I had some issues on was Sand Ocean, which Dolphin's Wiki states: "Sand Ocean's heat effect cuts speed on even the most powerful computers." So when I was playing on this track, there was very brief slowdown except for one instance where it nearly hung for a second. Other than that, smooth racing.

This is an M1 Apple Silicon Version of Dolphin you can download (use second Google Drive link). I haven't had any issues over a couple months, but download at your own risk: https://www.reddit.com/r/macgaming/comments/kxpx86/instructions_to_build_dolphin_emulator_mac_m1/?sort=new
