This is my first metal composition for YouTube! All of these riffs were written during the past 3 years, and I spent quite a bit of time coming up with an arrangement that worked. Yes, you're right, 3 years. 3 years old are only the intro riff, the outro solo, and the acoustic part. Everything else emerged during the past year.

Recording my own song was more challenging than my arrangements, because it's mine and I changed it many times while producing it. I had to experiment a bit to make the transitions between the two heavy sections and the acoustic section smooth, but I'm pretty happy with the finished product. I think it's quite unique, although being a metalcore song, but hopefully you will like it!

I recorded my guitars and bass directly into my M-Audio Fast Track interface. The drum tracks consist of Apple loops from Logic Pro and some software drums I wrote myself in GuitarPro. Everything you see is what you get. My electric guitar is a Washburn X-200 Pro E and my bass is a peavey millenium BXP. The acoustic is a cheap sigma one, bear with me.
