It is possible to use the debug build's files and make a new map that is compatible with the retail version of the game.

How to make your new map
----------------------------------------------

1) Go into the files for the debug build and delete FinalAlbion.stb

2) Open FableLauncher, go to the Graphics Tab and set your Display Resolution to 1024 x 768 and then load up the Map Editor.

3) Select the "World Edit" Tool.

4) Go in to the 2D Viewer.

5) Select the size of your map, using the squares shown in the 2D Viewer (recommended that you don't surpass 200x200 for each individual map).

6) Set a new name for your map.

7) Edit the new map you made however you want.

8) Use the "Save All" button in the toolbar at the top of the screen, to save any changes you make.

How to play your new map in Retail
----------------------------------

1) Make sure you have a fresh installation of Fable: The Lost Chapters and then use ChocolateBox to sort out your modding environment (unlock your game's level files).

2) Load up the FableLauncher again, but this time go to the Graphics Tab and set your Static Map Quality to 10 (you can change this to 1 if you simply want to test out your new map).

3) Tick "allow data generation" and then go to the Map Editor to compile a new STB for your map(s) - this can take a very long time to do as it will be compiling terrain for every map in the game.

4) Once it has finished compiling and loads up the map editor, simply exit out of the editor.

5) Go back into the debug builds data folder and look for the new STB that was created.

6) Rename the file to "FinalAlbion_RT.STB" and copy it into your retail game's data folder so that it replaces the STB inside of there.

7) Find FinalAlbion.WLD inside of the debug builds data folder and open it up.

8) Make sure your new map is at the bottom of the list of maps (if its your first time doing this, it should be Map: 399 by default).

9) Recycle a filler region (or whatever region you'd like in FinalAlbion.WLD), by deleting its "ContainsMap" and "SeesMap" sections and then replacing it with "ContainsMap YourNewMap.Lev"

10) Save and exit FinalAlbion.WLD, then copy it and paste it so that it replaces the FinalAlbion.WLD in your retail game's level folder.

11) Find the new .LEV and .TNG files for the map you made inside the debug build's data folder (Data/Level).

12) Copy the .LEV and .TNG and paste them inside your retail game's data folder (Data/Level).

13) Add "XXXSectionStart NULL;" and "XXXSectionEnd;" to YourNewMap.TNG

14) Download the mod "TNG Editor Set" by JohnDoe from the FableTLCMod Forums

15) Get both of the INI files from the TNG Editor set and replace the ones outside of your retail game's data folder.

16) Open up ChocolateBox one last time to add teleporters from Lookout Point to Your New Map.

17) Try out your new map!
