FableTLCMod - Avarice's Battle Armour
14I had spent a bit of time trying to make a new set of Archon's Battle Armour but every time I tried it wouldn't work.
So, I just made it into a retexture (which also includes text files to change the name of the armour, as seen in the video). Instead of the traditional Platinum Plate Armour, the armour is supposed to be made out of gold, with an ebony trim to it.
Sorry about the video quality, OBS wouldn't record Fable properly it seems...
Item Description:
"This particular suit of armour was crafted with the richest gold ore money could buy and then, trimmed with ebony to make its patterns more distinguishable.
The legend goes that a man, who was so hungry for power and material gain, had made it his mission to conquer all the land in Albion. One by one, he would conquer villages and towns, annexing them to his cause and forcing them to pay high tax and work long hours for a pay that barely even covered said taxes.
However, this would only anger the peasants and cause them to rebel against the master. That same master who would go on to make this solid gold armour, to prove to those who dared to oppose him that he only has his mind set on one thing - power, control, material gain, land, food - he wanted it all for himself. This man would come to be known as 'Avarice' for his inordinate desire to take from others for himself.
Eventually, this greed got the better of Avarice. As the peasants lured him with gold coins to the city well, where he fell and was trapped. The villagers then used the towns furance to melt the gold he stole from them and poured the liquid into the well. Ironically solidifying Avarice into the one thing he loved the most. Gold."
