Here, we'll be talking account if you can create messenger account without Facebook account or not. However, you cannot sign up for messenger without Facebook account. You'll need to have a fb account to access the messenger app. So, if you do not have a Facebook account, here are the steps you need to follow.
1. Open messenger app and from the homepage, click on the create an account button.
2. Now, in the Facebook account sign up page, enter your name, date of birth, email address or mobile number and password.
3. Verify your email address or mobile number as shown in the video.
4. Now, allow messenger app to access the contacts and other options as shown in the video.
