To fix the flamethrower problem (Will also disable achievements), type: (THIS IS NO LONGER NECESSARY FOLLOWING UPDATE 0.13.1)
/c game.player.force.technologies['flame-thrower'].researched=false
Then:
/c game.player.force.technologies['flame-thrower'].researched=true
The problem should be patched in the next few days, anyway.
