4In Factorio episode 1 we start by placing down a basic setup and getting power so we can start mass production relatively soon.
We don't have much in the beginning of the game but we do have stone furnaces... and we are gonna need a lot of those. They are used both to smelt copper and iron now in the beginning and they are also the building component for burner mining drills, burner inserters and boilers.
The boiler ratio that I like to use for our steam engines are 1-14-10. That means 1 offshore pump, 14 boilers and 10 steam engines. This setup allows your steam engines to work at 100% efficiency thanks to the 14 boilers and 10 engines is about as much water as one water pump can provide.
About let's play Factorio: Factorio is a sandbox factory building game with action elements. You are alone on a alien planet and need to construct a satellite, rocket silo and a rocket to launch the satellite into space. You start with noting more than some simple tools. All resources need to be harvested manually but as your resources grow you can construct machines and robots to help you on the way. As you play on you'll want to automate as many things as possible to make your factory more and more efficient.
On a side note, I'm playing the game without any mods so what you're seeing is Factorio gameplay vanilla version 0.14.
