Playthrough

The idea is that we are going to start with a smaller 100 Science Per Minute (SPM) Base, then move onto our Mid Base which might be about 10k SPM, and then we are going to push the computer to the limit until the frame rate means we can go no further!

Factorio is a fantastic little game created by developers Wube.
The whole premise is that you are a space explorer whose recent expedition has gone horribly wrong. You have crash landed on an alien planet and unfortunately your ship did not survive.
You now must use your engineering prowess to locate workable resources and build and automate your way to a new spaceship to save yourself!
But its not that simple! The more you destroy this planet and construct your life saving structures, the more you are going to anger the locals! You will have to fight them off and balance researching new technology to improve your base against military technology to keep you stronger than the aliens. But the more you pollute the planet, the more they mutate and the stronger they become.
Armed only with your own two hands and brain, will you escape the planet or become dinner?





Mods

This is a Modded Playthrough and the mods I am using are:
Factorio: Always Day – This allows you to always see what I am creating.
Factorio: Factory Planner – This helps me get ratio’s correct, which is important for UPS in the later game.
Factorio: Far Reach – I will ALWAYS forget something!! This helps me get it much easier.
Factorio: Nano Bots – Allows for a quicker build time until we get actual bots.
Factorio: RSO – This allows different resource patch sizes, so we do not have to keep chopping and changing them.
Factorio: Tree Collision – To help me pass through tree easier.
Factorio: Vehicle Snap – I don’t yet know what this does but was recommended it by a friend.
