There aren't really that many new things to mess around with, so the only remaining steps are optimization, which without a solid goal is difficult to focus on. I will probably play a few more times on this save, then take a break, and either return and try a new save (but faster) or maybe when interesting mods are ported I might try them.

Frankly, no goal makes it a lot harder for me to focus in a game like this, and a goal like reaching the shattered planet it too distant and non-specific without specific intermediate goals. I'll definitely play Factorio again, but not necessarily super soon (unless space exploration is updated, because that looks like a ton of fun).
