Hello there, and welcome to the review of the "Factorissimo 2" mod. Today, we'll be taking a closer look at all aspects of this mod, specifically a fork from notnotmelon, which is known to work more stably on the latest versions of the game and puts less strain on your computer.
At the core of this mod are factories, and there are three different types to choose from, each varying in size and number of inputs. The first factory is 30 by 30 tiles and features 16 inputs. The second factory is 46 by 46 tiles and has 24 inputs, while the third factory measures 60 by 60 tiles and includes a whopping 32 inputs. Plus, there's no need to worry about power - all the machines within the factories will be automatically powered by electricity. Once you research the lighting tech, lighting will also be added to the factories for added convenience.
Once you've researched further, you'll be able to add item icons to your factories, making it easier to understand what each one produces without having to enter them. Additionally, another research unlocks a magnifying glass feature, allowing you to zoom in on a factory and take a closer look at what's inside. It's a convenient tool that can save you time and effort.
But that's not all. Thanks to the "recursion" research, you can now place factories inside other factories! This means that you can fit an unlimited number of factories into a single one and save tons of space in the process.
Before we wrap things up, let's talk about some of the unique input options available in Factorissimo 2. In addition to using conveyor belts, you can also move liquids through pipes. And even transport logistic signals. Plus, you can synchronize chests both inside and outside of the factory to have the same contents.
