5Welcome to my journey into Tekken 7. I decided to upload all my matches, regardless of the quality of my play, in an effort to record my progress as a player.
I recognize these videos are coming out after a larger and larger delay as my releasing 4 or 5 at a time allows me to build up a bit of a buffer. This allows me to avoid feeling pressured to rush any videos out. It was also one factor in my decision to start leaving the date-index number code, which I use for keeping the files in order on my file system, in the title.
Anyway, I did okay for most of this set, at times I would even say I did well, but the thing I notice most is my lack of "vocabulary." I rely on 1,2 and 1,2,1 a lot for applying pressure. But this was only the second time playing this character, so I wasn't too worried about that.
This was also a good opportunity to try learning a bit more about Dragunov. I was already mildly familiar with a lot of his signature moves but I've always had difficulty actually fighting against him.
