I bought this Sony HDR-CX320E Camcorder from Amazon cheap because it came with a generic Battery and Charger, sadly this was its downfall, first time using the charger it produced a rather foul acidic stench and destroyed the battery.
I never even got to make one recording with this camcorder :-(

I'll be returning it, and then spending a bit more money to get a brand new item.
