How to install KSuperkey in Kubuntu, which will allow you to use Windows / Super key on its own to open up the Application Menu. It can also be used on other launchers such as Homerun.

This tutorial covers KDE Ubuntu based distros, such as Kubuntu, Linux Mint KDE, and Netrunner.

Terminal Commands:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mehanik/ksuperkey
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ksuperkey
and then reboot
