Launched in 2001, the Royal Navy's Astute-class submarines were build to counter the increasingly capable Soviet submarines of the 80's - but how would they have fared? We take the HMS Ambush back in time to an alt-history 1984 where the cold war has boiled over and the NATO navies are responsible for preventing the fall of Europe!
