東方魔晶精 - Fairies of Sorcery - Lunatic MarisaA 1.4 Billion
3Spent the week getting this. Got it around 10 last night. Also some PC98 music (mostly MS). Its what I listened when I got this run.
I would like to say this is a primarily a survival run. I don't know how high the scoring potential is. I was mostly taking advantage of the double burst mechanic. When working on this run, I started thinking even if its for survival, going for a double burst is worth it. All bullets are cancelled when you activate it and as the burst ends. The time in between the brief period it is active is just enough for the next wave of patterns to get to you.
Occasionally, you will see that I get really close to the bosses during a bomb. That is because I figured out when using MarisaC (spread shot) that bosses drop more crystals if you are really close to them. That helps set myself up for future parts of the game as well as making sure I have enough power to use a burst.
Its hard to tell, but I think the last pattern is immune to bombs (though I would assume that the Three Fairies of Light still take shot damage during the bomb). I don't use the burst in the final phase because bullets don't get cancelled during that.
I primarily used any power I have to try to maximize my resources. In stage 3, I do use it even if I know the fairies only drop yellow crystals. Its mostly because the fact that using the burst cancels out bullets as I previously said. I could be wrong about the bomb immunity because of how much health that pattern has.
I prefer MarisaB's stage 3 over MarisaA. However, MarisaA is much better when it comes to dealing with the fairies compared to MarisaB's lasers.
