The past few flights we have been done have been OCA. While early in the campaign we established nominal air superiority, we are now trying to completely destroy the battered remnants of the DPRK air force. This includes OCA strikes deep in front of the FLOT. In this mission steer 5 was a firecan radar, steer 6 was an engineer battalion nearby to the airbase on a secondary airstrip and steer 7 was the radar tower at Koksan. I engage a J-5 before we begin ingressing, and while rolling in flight lead gets shot up by AAA and aborts. Meanwhile I drop clusterbombs on the steer for 5 but the firecan has moved, bomb some engineer cranes on the airstrip. As im bombing the engineers I get bugged by MIG-29s, 3 ships from various directions and abort attacking the engineers. I quickly bomb the radar tower then go defensive, trying to escape a MIG-29 interception with 3, the 3rd ship in the flight. Since we were on target for longer than fragged our escort abandoned us as we got jumped by 29s. Luckily we managed to get out of their alive, killing 2 29s on the way out. Things got really hairy though.
