Udio came back up and I tried prog rock testing Udio with a song about computers replacing mainframes, but the results were really different lol. This reminds me of somewhere between the Beatles and David Bowie lol. 🙂

Lyrics:
The wizards of mainframe, coding commandments
Believed they were mighty, their logic so rampant
Lab coats like armor, glasses reflecting light
Magnetic tape spinning, throughout the night

They laughed at the thought of a desktop invasion
A micro machine, causing mainframe abrasion

Brian at the desk with monitors
Brian at the desk with monitors
Brian at the desk with monitors, aha
Imagine yourself in a room full of giants
With tape drives and punch cards, their fortress of science

Suddenly, there's a shift in the paradigm
Circuits and pixels light up the dials
Silicon dreams disrupting their trials
Reverberating with beeps in the halls
The future now knocking on ivory walls

The age of the mainframe, it starts to wane
As microchips gather like drops of rain
The wizards now wary, their tape reels slow
A whisper of doubt begins to grow
Their stronghold of knowledge, not so vast
As chips in the watch and chips in the glass
Fingers once dancing on giant keys
Now learn to adapt with digital ease
But these personal computers were supposed to be merely toys.

The glow of the screen in the chamber dim
Forging a world that starts from a whim
Brian at his terminal, scoffing out loud
Believing his code was king of the cloud
A revolution in plastic and wire
A box on a desk sparked a tech empire

In the fortress of circuits, their laughter grew thin
Tales of a mouse that could fit in your hand
The scoffin' of giants, now sized like a grain
As mini-computers invade their domain
Mainframes like dinosaurs, bound to decay
As bytes in the bedroom lead us astray
