Hack Number Two "Derived Attributes"
When skills just don't fit some times you just need an "Attribute Check." just do some math before the game begins and create some derived attributes.
Attribute Checks We Used Include
Willpower: [Intelligence x 1.5]
Rest/Recovery/Resist: [Endurance x 1.5]
Fate/Dumb Luck: [Luck x 1.5]
Courage: [Charisma] plus [Intelligence x 1/2]
Recall: [Intelligence] + [Luck x 1/2]
Resist Stagger [Strength] + [Endrance x 1/2]
If you want to be really accurate the proper math is
[SPECAIL] x 1.6
or for combined attributes
([SPECIAL] + [SPECIAL]) x .8
Just remember never make an attribute vs skill roll, as the attribute scores will naturally be higher, then the character who actually spent points investing in their skill.
