Point Lookout is a very,very creepy expansion.

Recommended gear:
At least 500 caps
a good weapon that you have plenty ammo for
Ghoul Mask (from Tenpenny Tower quest)
6 Fission Batteries
20 Wild Punga Fruits (you can buy them from Tobar)
A good supply of Stimpacks and Rad-Away

High HP is necessary for enemies feature strong melee-ers and Double Barrel Shotguns

If you are going to the Rivet City Landing by foot from the western wasteland, beware of multiple Raider outposts and a Talon Company outpost.

Catherine is first to speak to you. Agree to help her for a caps reward later.

Tobar owns the boat to Point Lookout. You actually have to buy a ticket from him, which is pretty expensive.

Once there, head north into the amusement park until you can make a right and meet Panada.

She's actually a crappy merchant, but she can help you off load some heavy objects.
