The first in this series of Fallout 4 build guides looks at the core character attributes from the S.P.E.C.I.A.L selections which define your characters physiology and personality.

We take a look at the importance of planning your build and what you need to consider from the Perks chart when defining your preferred character playstyle.

You have 21 points you can allocate to S.P.E.C.I.A.L attributes at the very start of the game so its important to make sure you know what perks you will want to take in your character build to avoid redundancy of points but also to make sure you can access those perks you really want to play.

Make sure you give thought to how you want your game to pan out and then allocate your initial S.P.E.C.I.A.L attribute points accordingly - you want high damage melee character you better get some points in strength! You want to play an assassin in the shadows you will need to drop some points into Agility so no-one can see you.

The next video will take a look at my first build - a theiving assassin with hacking and weapon building skills! Jack of all trades? Not quite - but you won't see me coming!!!
