In this mod review I cover a mod that adds a new weapon to Fallout 4. This is the Hunting Carbine which is inspired by the Colt Rangemaster from the original Fallout games. This weapon was the Hunting Rifle back in the day and in this mod, it functions as a high-powered semi auto marksman rifle. This weapon features custom animations and sounds as well as a wide variety of attachments for you to build the weapon with. This weapon does feel great to use as it strikes a perfect balance of power. You can one-shot most softer enemies and it has a fairly quick fire rate allowing for quick follow up shots if you miss. There is also a unique you can find out in the world, but it doesn't really add anything other than a middling legendary effect to the weapon. This gun is very solid overall, with nothing to complain about but at the same time it doesn't offer anything super unique or interesting gameplay wise. I still recommend that everyone give it a try if you are looking for a new rifle to use.
