In this mod review I cover a mod that adds a classic Fallout New Vegas Weapon to Fallout 4. This is the Varmint Rifle which you get right in the very start of New Vegas as you are taught by Sunny Smiles how to shoot as bottles with it. It's still the same bolt action rifle now but it does come with a wide variety of attachments that allow you to customize it to your play style. It also features custom animations and sounds which look and sound great and are very nostalgic. There are also unique variants in the world including a version which does plasma damage and allows you to melt your enemies. Overall though the rifle is still pretty weak and is a good fit for the early game but will struggle against late game enemies in comparison to other weapons. It's still a classic and it has enough cool features to be worth using in my opinion.
