0So yeah, I am convinced that the Liberty Prime bit tried to kill my PC, and that the save is possibly corrupted or on its way to being corrupted. I don't think it was the mods causing the problem, as this particular section of the questline has historically always had problems like this, so it was really only a matter of time I guess.
Maybe way later, I'll try to go back to this to see what the actual full damage is and whether any of it is salvageable, but at this point I'm just done with this game.
