OLD DESCRIPTION-
Hey guys! I made a super quick video on how to get started using OpenVR Input Emulator to make Fallout 4 VR playable on your Oculus Rift!

1. Download and Install OpenVR Input Emulator from:
https://github.com/matzman666/OpenVR-InputEmulator
2. Start Fallout 4 VR and Open Steam Menu
3. Select OpenVR Input Emulator
4. Select Left Controller from the Dropdown Menu
5. Select Input Mapping
6. Scroll down the list until you find AXIS 0 Joystick.
7. Select Remapping
8. Check Apply Deadzone fix.
9. Select POSITION BASED from the dropdown menu.
10. SAVE!
11. Back out of the list of options for the left controller.
12. Select The RIGHT Controller from the dropdown menu.
13. Select Input Remapping.
14. Scroll down until you find AXIS 0 Joystick.
15. Check Deadzone fix.
16. Choose POSITION BASED from the dropdown menu.
17. SAVE
18. Press the Steam Menu Button on the Left Controller again to close the Steam Menus
19. Go to your Settings Menu in Fallout.
20. Choose VR
21. Enable Free Movement
22. Enable USE WANDS
23. Enable SMOOTH MOVEMENT
24. Set Rotation Amount to whatever you like - I use 30 degrees
25. THAT'S IT! Play the game!

In order to move left or right, You Will Need To Press Down on the RIGHT Thumbstick!!! Move the Thumbstick Left, Click In. It will turn you. Move the Thumbstick Right. Click In On The Thumbstick, and it will turn you to the right!

This is a crummy workaround, but at least you can play the game!

I WILL be attempting to properly remap these keys so you won't have to CLICK INTO THE THUMBSTICK IN ORDER TO MOVE!!! You should just move the dang stick left or right and turn... like pretty much every 3D game in the last 20 years.

You guys are beautiful.

I will see you all soon with a brand new video...

I'm thinking:

"THE OCULUS TOUCH CONTROLS THAT REALLY SHOULD HAVE SHIPPED WITH FALLOUT 4 VR."

Catchy, ne?

Love and Peace!
