Bethesda has announced they will do something about it but in this game it's very hard to manage the inventory and the stash size. Even if you can't increase them you can manage them a lot better. Right now, with these tips you can make long adventures and quests and still have a clear stash.
Remember that most weapons you pick up are bad because if you have the plan, you can craft them at a higher level, same goes for armor. So....remember that the best items are the ones you can craft and modify, no the ones with high stats.
