June 24th, 2074. During heated negotiations with other world powers at the height of the Resource Wars, the President of the United States would dramatically storm out of the meeting, declaring that the US would only be using its last reserve of petroleum for domestic uses.

Industries across the globe would grind to a standstill as other global reserves ran dry. The needs of its citizens however would not go unmet, as despite UN sanctions, exports from the US would increase expenciously; America seeing it’s largest economic grown in almost 100 years.
