June 23rd, 2102. After hearing reports of attacks by strange mutated creatures around the Mariposa Military Base, an expedition led by two men – Harold and Richard Grey – would take a handful of others along with them to investigate these attacks.

Their investigation would lead them into a firefight with the mutants that lived in the old military base, and after breaching the facility during the fight, a robotic crane would knock both Harold and Gray into massive vats of a strange green liquid.

Harold would escape and go to live an incredibly long life, while the other would mutate further into the diabolical abomination known as The Master.
