This boss appears to be a test on buff/debuff management. If you pressure him with a bunch of debuffs and throw up your own buffs ASAP, he seems to cycle into finding ways to negate them and stunning your party members rather than actually attacking.

Regen seems to be incredibly strong in this game because it seems to last permanently in combat until the party member either dies or the effect is dispelled. Poison seems to operate under the same principle, but sadly mechanical enemies seem to be immune to it for obvious reasons.

Not pictured: The first two attempts I lost because I forgot to (or couldn't because my hexer was stunned) nullmirror the buffs the bird gave him before his next attack wrecked half my party.

Party setup:

- Saito: Generalist 25/Medic 10/Samurai 15/Heavy Archer 13 (All-rounder with a focus on physical damage. He's also the only member of the party that possesses a defense-piercing skill that makes very short work of certain enemies weak to that effect.)

- Varis: Fighter 15/Light Infantry 16/Guardian 25/Heavy Infantry 7 (physical tank. The party-wide defense buffs from Guardian are invaluable. Honestly I should have gone Monk for his tier 2 class instead.)

- Aegis: Sorcerer 25/Medic 2/Shadowmage 25/Barrier Mage 11 (Those medic levels were from a time where I thought I was going to shift her focus into being a healer, until I realized it would be better for my fourth character to do that instead. Shadowmage is incredible because a lot of things are weak to Lux or Dark)

- Celeste: Recon 12/Hexer 20/Chemist 14/Havenmaker 17 (My speedy healer and debuffer. I regret not sticking with Hexer until I gained the multi-target attack debuff, because quite frankly I haven't found much of a use for the Chemist offensive abilities yet. I got a ton of mileage out of the group-wide heal that Chemist gets at level 2 or 3 though.)
