Fan Service Can and DOES Ruin Anime!
Here's one take on fan service, and the problem always lies on the viewer.
"Fan-service can and does ruin plenty of anime." I disagree. It doesn't ruin anime at all. It only ruins anime if you think about it too much when most of these moments are so brief that they are practically ignorable. What I'm saying is you're making a big deal out of a whole lot of nothing.
"Fire Force is the best example." Actually, that's a terrible example. Again, they are so brief that you can just ignore them entirely, but you're the one who has to laser focus on it. Also, the guys got them too, around Chapter 90 in the manga. Granted, it's a bit late for that, but what I'm saying is equal opportunity fan service is always welcome.
"I'll never be able to recommend it because every other episode has a girl getting half-naked." That's not true at all. This guy is exaggerating the fan service moments way out of proportions. Most of it is just your typical shonen stuff. It's not the best at what it does, but it's good enough if you're into it.
