This is the most recent demo for the very promising Sonic Triple Trouble 16-Bit, an upcoming fan remake of the Game Gear game. This is stunningly good; it's made in Game Maker Studio 2, but goes out of its way to imitate a Sega Genesis right down to the hardware limitations, presenting itself as a what-if alternate history version. It even advances the Sonic 3 & Knuckles formula as a hypothetical Genesis sequel would have done, with a stronger Sonic/Tails tag team gameplay and a Mode 7 style Special Stage. Extra levels are also being added, including a neat intro level present in all of the demos so far. If it gets finished (and it looks like it will), this might be the best Sonic fangame of them all.
