The Protector's Arrival | Main Quests
The fastest way to get to the cave from the Ghale's homestead is by using the hang-glider.
This mission will begin when you will get to the Ghale's homestead where you may speak with Yogi and Reggi. They will tell you where you can find a part of the thangka which you can find in a distant cave. The quickest way to get there is by using the hang-glider.
In front of this alter you will find the thing you are looking for.
When you will get to the cave you need to take care of the few hunters. You may also spin a Mani wheel. When you are in front of the golden gate you may jump down and then climb a little bit using the grappling hook. You will enter a mysterious chamber where in the center you will see the item you are looking for and which will take you to a weird, different world.
Shangri-La
The tiger will become your ally.
At first you need to just jump ahead. When you will be under the water swim towards the water surface through the hedge made of the fish. When you will get to the ashore you may go straight ahead along the path. You will see a wounded tiger from which you can take a weapon and go further ahead. A moment later the tiger will appear again and will become your ally which you may order to attack the enemy demons. Your main task is to spin two big wheels who are both on your left and your right.
There is a lot of enemies and they are dealing a lot of damage with their attacks. Don't let them surround you and use the help of the tiger.
Every wheel is surrounded by a lot of enemies. You may eliminate them and keep healing yourself although remember that only few of their hits is enough to kill you. The good solution is to use the tiger. Just point him the enemy you want it to attack. If the tiger will die it will reborn again soon and even you are unable to kill all the enemies at the same time you may just keep using the tiger and this way you will be perfectly safe during the process. Keep repeating the attack and clean both wheels to update your quest.
You will meet the last group of enemies after you will pass the stairs.
Your next task is to get to the big bell. On your way you will meet another group of enemies on the middle of the big square on the end of the long stairs. Use the tiger to kill them all. Beware of the arsonist who may attack you by spitting the fire on you. Follow the game's suggestions and let the tiger to distract him and when he will succeed you will be able to take down this enemy. After you will defeat all of your enemies you have an open path to the bell which you may "release" by interacting with it.
"Releasing" the bell will move you to your parents' house.
The mission will be completed and you will be moved to the Ghaels' homestead which from now on you may upgrade and repair.
