Datalog_1: I had been tasked with modifying a *Storm* deck from a coleague of mine at the Izzet Barracks. The core concept was to use goblins as FUEL for a storm spell and just explode the enemy to literal pieces. Hilarious. I can't wait to pour over his research more thoroughly.


Datalog_2: -His notes pointed out an issue with the goblin fuel source getting jammed from basic land Mountains. And that we needed to flush them out of the way somehow. I subbed in some Evolving Wilds equivalent cards in a bid to "halve" the land base. This slows it down 50% but this being a combo focused deck, I feel the sacrifice justifies the ends.


Datalog_3: Initial testing was incredibly rough. Most non-goblin subjects simply died during even rudimentary stress tests. Even those of Gods and Planeswalkers..To truly storm off you must shed the shackles of reason and go completely **goblin mode**.

Datalog_4: After Grinding out a Golden Wild Card I've found the keystone to making this work. [[!Rundvelt Hoardmaster]] exiles cards from the Library's top for goblin blood spilling. Combining that with a free Sacrifice outlet, we're in business. While I only own one copy [[!Goblin Matron]] tutors whichever combo piece was missing or was recently removed. *chefs kiss*

Datalog_5: Tests prove well met despite my lack of gold wild cards. Turns to Storm are a bit long and care must be held in which goblins "draw" when you need to. Killing turns can take ages, but with some refinement I can see this deck coming into it's own.
