Farm Guide: Coralscale Salamander Mount and 4 Elemental Storm Spirit Pets!
1. The Coralscale Salamander Mount is rewarded from
completing the meta Achievement "Into the Storm".
Criteria 1: Stormed Off Achievement
Defeat 8 special creatures during storm events in the Dragon Isles.
They spawn at the start of the storm event or randomly every 30-50 minutes.
Criteria 2: Storming the Runway Achievement
Collect an armor set from the Primal Storms. These are sold by Mythressa in Valdrakken.
The total cost is 3150 Elemental Overflow.
Elemental Overflow are super easy to farm in Dragonflight Season 4
Criteria 3: Elemental Overload Achievement
Obtain 5000 Elemental Overflow. again .. This is super easy!
Criteria 4: Storm Chaser Achievement
This one takes time because you have to defeat 200 imbued creatures from 4 storm types in Waking Shores, Ohn'ahran Plains, Azure Span, and Thaldraszus.
Elemental Storms spawn in pairs every three hours in two random zones on the Dragon Isles.
The events last for two hours, meaning that you have an hour of downtime in between each spawn cycle.
(Tip) This has to be done on one character, alts don't contribute toward meta achievements.
(Tip) To make this Storm Chaser Achievement less painful and more profitable for gold making,
you can farm the 4 Elemental Storm Spirit Pets during the Elemental Storm event.
All you need are the following items:
1. Zapthrottle Soul Inhaler (created by Engineering and can be bought off the auction house)
2. Empty Soul Cages (created by Jewelcrafting and can be bought off the auction house).
(Tip) In general, you can find 3 types of elementals in each Elemental Storm.
Obviously, there will be one dominating based on the storm type theme.
But while waiting on the Zapthrottle Soul Inhaler's 5-minute cooldown
and the Docile to cook for 15 minutes,
try to find another elemental type and repeat.
Now, I have asked a few of my real-life pet battle specialists if there is
anything special about these pets:
the Dust Spirit, Gale Spirit, Tide Spirit, or Blaze Spirit,
and why they are worth a lot of gold on the Auction House.
The simple reply was just because they are super hard to get, that’s it.
but ... think of them as a long-term flip investment.
