Farpoint | Grotto Challenge 3 Medals | Spelunker Trophy Guide
0The easiest challenge in the DLC, I was able to get 3 medals first try. You can probably get 3 medals just by finishing the mission. I used the basic precision rifle and shotgun. You need 60k points for 3 Medals. Overall a very slow and boring mission, difficulty wise it's a 3/10.
The first area is fairly simple. Kill the green spiders at the start then take the right path, hide behind rocks, and sniper the enemies that come from the blue door, if they come too close don't be afraid to use the shotgun. Try to be as fast as possible, time could be a bit tight for you if you take too long.
The next area (1:57) is the slowest one. Enemies will slowly spawn from all sides so you can just use the shotgun for the most part, just be wary of the snipers that spawn near the start and explosive drones at the end. Don't worry about time, this part is meant to be slow and tedious.
After finally getting past that slow part you will reach the last section of the level (6:03). Quickly take out the two drones at the start and mainly stay at the start for the whole duration of the section if you want to be extra safe. You can go a bit further with the shotgun if yellow enemies are giving you problems, but be careful as after the alien ships bring more enemies drones will come as well that can kill you very quickly. It is possible you will run out of time here if you are too slow but you can always just end the mission if that happens as the point requirement is fairly low in this level.
