I've got two relatively new additions to the Kingman armoury here: The mighty Normandy Guitars Alumicaster Tinline - a guitar made from aircraft-grade aluminum; and Fractal Audio System's brand new (at the time of writing) Quantum Firmware (beta1) for the Axe-FX. I figured it would be fun to pair them up so I've written a stage-worthy preset centred around the "Double Verb" ('66 Twin) amp and cabinet. To me it sounds pretty darned wonderful. I've added a simple pedal compressor, Fulltone overdrive, spring reverb, stereo tape delay, Script 90 phaser and multi-tap detune delay for some spice. You'll find a Rotary sim in the preset as well although that was not demonstrated in this video.

The Quantum Firmware promises great things. Hell, the Axe-FX was already great! Kudos and big thanks to the tenacious, tireless and ever-generous FAS team.

Big thanks also to my friend Jim Normandy at Normandy Guitars for bestowing on me one of this planet's finest and funnest instruments ever. Go, Jim!
