Fast-paced and Spooky Twin-Stick Shooter Roguelike | Dead Estate - Part 1
2Hello everyone! After a few years, I am finally trying Dead Estate for the first time, and what could be a better occasion than the Final Update. Dead Estate is a top-down twin-stick shooter roguelike with a horror/spooky setting. There are some levels that are quite Halloween atmosphered, and I don't know if it was because I played this during Halloween or that is how this game looks like. Gameplay is quite straightforward, you go into rooms, Binding of Isaac style, kill everything and leave, while getting loot on your way. You count with 2 weapons (a default one and one that you can change) a jump skill and some special skill you can acquire. Game is a lot of fun, but I still can't get used to the angle of the camera, to aim or avoid certain attacks. Also, there are plenty of traps to avoid, and I am not a big fan of that.
Anyways, here you have my first try to the game, but I will come back to try higher difficulties and other characters.
