Faster Eyeball Frog & Eye Drops Delivery
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Walkthrough
The glitch I use to skip to Lake Hylia can be done in the 3ds version, but not as it's shown in this video. I'll do my best to explain how to do it in that version down below.
Eyeball Frog (All versions but 3DS)
After getting the frog, go to the main room and Hookshot to the ladder. You'll want to hookshot to the top rung of the ladder or higher. You also have to do it form an angle that's off to the side. Try to stand in roughly the same spot as me and you should get it with little difficulty. You'll know you have it when Link grabs onto the ladder and seems to go into the wall some. At this point press 'A' to let go of the ladder and immediately follow it up with 'B' to do a jump slash. If you are too low or slow Link won't go through the wall so you'll have to try again. When you make it through the wall there will be a ledge of ice and some water after. Jump off the ice into the water, then dive down while swimming toward the room. As soon as you breach the wall and enter the room again, put on the Heavy Boots and walk through the warp point.
Eyeball Frog (3DS version)
Stand in front of and face the Zora Shop and take the left path down to the ice. On your way down look to the wall on the right and you will see a pillar. You'll want to jump slash into where the right side of the pillar and the wall meet. You'll go through the wall and be on some ice with some water nearby. Go into the water and dive down while headed toward either the main room or the warp point directly. You'll probably need to toggle the Heavy Boots on and off at least once to give yourself some more swim time, though.
Eye Drops (All versions)
Now this doesn't just work for the Eye Drops, but it is definitely the most useful here. I'm sure you're aware that when you go underwater or in somewhere with extreme heat without the appropriate tunic on, a timer pops up. When this timer shows up it will pause the timer for the ingredient that you have. It will remain paused so long as you don't leave the water/heat or put on the appropriate tunic. You'll notice I put on the Goron Tunic, but I only did it to better show that this works. You are not supposed to put it on.
