My name is Robert, and I try things.

This time I tried the 1.5 Update for Genshin Impact, the open-world, gacha-style RPG from Mihoyo.
What is Genshin Impact?
If you haven’t played or heard of Genshin Impact yet, it has been dubbed “Breath of the Waifu” by some on the internet, for its strong visual resemblance to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, combined with its Gacha pool of cute or attractive anime-style characters.
It’s a fairly entertaining mobile-cum-console-and-PC game, even if the “open world” is not even half open, yet.
That’s a whole other rant that we don’t have time for today
So, what about version 1.5?
Version 1.5 introduces some new story quests, game mechanics, and characters.
However, one of the biggest changes, at least for PS4 and PS5 players, is performance improvements--especially regarding item pickup.
