NETGEAR FastLane technology with our WiFI range extenders ensures you get the fastest wireless speed possible. The normal operating mode of the extender (also referred to as Internet Surfing mode) is to allow devices on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands to connect at the same time. This mode extends both Wi-Fi bands at the same time, but reduces the Wi-Fi performance.
FastLane Technology offers maximum Wi-Fi performance. It provides high-speed Wi-Fi with a dedicated band connecting the extender and the Wi-Fi device, and a second band connecting the extender and the Wi-Fi router. FastLane Technology is ideal for HD gaming and HD video streaming.
