Playthrough with Terry Bogard. Takara released the Game Gear port of Fatal Fury Special in 1994. Whilst obviously cut down -almost half the characters are missing and the planes system is gone -this port is actually quite good and my favorite Game Gear game. All of the moves are there are the fights are really fast paced. This is also one of the few versions of Fatal Fury Special that let you use Ryo Sakazaki in the single player mode without resorting to hacking.

You also always fight Ryo in this version, it doesn't matter if you lose any rounds or not.

I used an emulator to record this playthrough. I would have liked to have used the real hardware but I have no idea how to go about it. I actually thought SEGA had released a Game Gear adapter for the Genesis like they had done for the Master System, but it seems I was remembering wrong. The emulator I used was KEGA Fusion.
