Lon'qu (joins at the end of the map)- The stoic swordsman himself. I want to get him to be a thief for +1 movement on pair up.
STRATEGY:
The arena is like the northroad in that there's not a whole lot going on with the terrain itself. As such, Robin needs to do a lot of killing in the northern section. Chrom and Stahl only need to clean up the southern part for EXP.
Chapter 5 is cleared in 2 turns.
UNITS:
Ricken - A very important unit, he's going to have our biggest rescue staff range. Shame I need to train him up to have combat.
STRATEGY:
A big part of this clear is the ability to drop off saddled units from pair up, since otherwise Frederick wouldn't be able to position Robin in the right place.
Chapter 5x is cleared in 4 turns.
STRATEGY:
An important part of the clear is the fact that the tactician class can cross river tiles, which helps Robin get Stahl across without the bridge. Also Frederick needs to visit the village in order to save a turn.
Chapter 6 is cleared in 3 turns.
UNITS:
Gaius - A thief, and a possessor of +1 movement as a pair up bonus.
STRATEGY:
Getting Gaius requires something seemingly contradictory in unequipping Robin, but that's for reliability purposes. Also Validar moves, so I need to mind his range for both the boss kill and to have Stahl avoid him.
Chapter 7 is cleared in 2 turns.
STRATEGY:
I actually need to break a hand axe on enemy phase with Frederick getting the strength tonic in order to finish the map on time. The other units deal with stuff in the back like any stragglers and a bunch of Wyverns.
Paralogue 3 is cleared in 4 turns.
STRATEGY:
Honestly this map isn't really that complex, strategy wise, but figuring out Ricken's movement was definitely something that impacted the clear more than it should have.
