Doesnt need a crit. Pretty much guaranteed because the only thing that can screw this up is if Vaida fails to kill the Thief on Turn 2 (which is 0.04% with the Brave Lance). Seems to be the best possible strategy if you recruit Harken (have the Brave Sword) and are giving him the Speedwings (for C29 and AS thresholds)

Hector has to have 11 Str to be able to ORKO the highest possible Hp/Def rolls on the Knights in his way which takes 4 strength levelups, so 9 levels (level 10). These are really unlikely so normally he can get by with like 1 strength proc. This is actually possible on 0% growths if the Knights aren't too strong.


Hector can opt to Elixir on Turn 3 and doesn't need to finish the Mages to be able to run away from them. Vulneraries just save Pure Water uses on Vaida.
