F.E.A.R. stands for First Encounter Assault Recon, a special operations paramilitary branch that deals with paranormal situations. We play as an unamed character, known only as the Point Man, whose past and identity are shrouded in mistery. He is known for possessing reflexes that are several times faster than those of an ordinary soldier, which enables him to execute complex and difficult feats with cirurgical precision at lightning speed, which makes him an almost unconquerable opponent.
The story begins when a psychic commander (Paxton Fettel), who has a mental link to a full batalion of cloned supersoldiers, begins an uprising, killing all security forces in the facility. Our team is sent to eliminate this individual. His death would then shut down all Replica soldiers. It should be simple...
