This is my favorite track from DKC (sorry Aquatic Ambience) and I knew it could be arranged into a great chiptune version, but I kept putting it off. When I found about the DKC port on the GameBoy Color, I was really excited to hear the soundtrack. Unfortunately, this song is... not great, so I knew I had to try to arrange it myself. Turned out to be quite a bit more difficult than I expected! It has a lot of choirs and pads that just don't sound great in chiptune. I also cut a couple of bars from the song that didn't make much sense for the aforementioned reason. I do like the final result a lot, but these few problems soured my enjoyment of the song a bit I must confess.

All my music is coded in a modified Pokémon Crystal rom, and recorded using the bgb emulator.
