F.E.A.R. [VERT] How Does It Hold Up Today? // Part 1

The Horror/Thriller games of the Xbox 360 era were top notch and some of my favorite, whether it be The Condemned, The Darkness, The Suffering or today's game F.E.A.R. this was PEAK time to play a FPS with a great story (often spooky). We are playing the Windows XP version which came out 2 years before the 360 version. Does the original F.E.A.R. hold up? Let's find out!
F.E.A.R. is a first-person shooter psychological horror video game series created by Craig Hubbard in 2005. The game is set in the city of Fairport in 2025 and follows the fictional F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon) unit, an elite group in the United States Army tasked with investigating supernatural phenomena, as they probe a private military company's secret research program, which has resulted in the unintended release of a dangerous and powerful psychic.
๐จ DISCLAIMER: If you have FPS issues on PC while playing this game, this is due to an input related FPS slowdown problem that occurs with FEAR, its expansions, Condemned & other games. This issue occurs with all types but more often with the usage of Logitech devices. In order to fix this you need to download a patch file & the file in the folder of the main game & all DLCs of the game as well, since each DLC are treated as separate games.
