5Recorded as part of the "Beast Finds Love" sessions, Feeling It Out takes place during a first date between two people who've been hurt and who honestly don't know if they can trust each other. I played or programmed all instruments and vocals on this song, going for a kind of pseudo neo-country vibe that I felt like messing around with. I don't normally produce music that sounds like this, but I like the way it turned out. Plus it tells a story I think most people can relate to. You never know how much a person will mean to you until you're brave to give them a chance.
