Me and my good buddy Kyle (bass) recorded this song as part of our "Manitou People" sessions. It was a long productive summer, and the resulting full-length disc was one of a kind. We home-recorded the whole thing in his apartment off Manitou Avenue in gorgeous Manitou Springs, Colorado. If you ever get the chance to visit, I highly recommend it. The Ute natives considered the area holy ground before the white settlers showed up and took it for themselves. After that, it became a hotbed for tuberculosis treatment in the late 19th century, owing to the high altitude and natural sulfuric spring water. You can still feel that intense, slightly sad energy everywhere you go. It permeates the art and music of the place, and by the way, the album Kyle and I made there is pretty dope. Go on, now, peoples. Enjoy!

I'm a gamer, a musician, and a sci-fi writer. I got it all, people! Check out my Amazon author page for some sweet-ass booky books: https://www.amazon.com/Jeff-Bowles/e/B01L7GXCU0/
