Because the mic isn't filtered, I'd rather recommend these as a great quality set of headphones than a gaming headset. And no doubt these will be popular with people that appreciate the Japanese pine wood cups, they definitely stand out among the rest.

I really enjoy using them, just a great sound in my opinion, so if they seem like your kind of headphones, I can recommend them.
