I never played Felix the Cat (NES) back in the NES days and never heard of anyone playing it at the time. However, I have recently been made aware that this is a quality title that time seems to have forgotten. So I decided to play it and see for myself. I must say, I am rather surprised by its quality and gameplay elements. The weapon stacking mechanic is really cool and acts as another layer of defense but then the next level you are infinitely jumping with an umbrella or balloon - drastically different gameplay but it always feels good.

Great game.

Just this previous Halloween, I made a video highlighting forgotten Halloween (not horror) games and featured Felix The Cat on Gameboy Color. Shame on me for not playing his NES game sooner.
