Feral Druid PvP Montage - Vaeyn 172 - Easy Mode Training
27Montage of PvP in World of Warcraft. Feral Druid WPvP in Battle for Azeroth. Bad habits have built up, hard to break out! Vaeyn starts a new training regime - over time, aiming to improve performance within Easy Mode ( https://youtu.be/qqGzW5_qMnc ) talent and macro limitations. Keep in mind, this is WPvP, which means variable skill opponents and not necessarily Arena pros. In WPvP, it's okay to just kill for fun. Having said that, Vaeyn does have ambition. Improvement goals are listed below. These are not all going to be fixed in this vid, or the next one, or the next one, but over time. If you have any feedback, let us know in the comments.
Edit: After feedback on this vid, I have replaced the PvP talents King of the Jungle and Fresh Wound with Thorns and Savage Momentum. I had selected passive talents for easiness, but part of training is to improve so, gonna try non-passive talents. This change won't show up until future videos - the next vid might contain clips where I don't have the talent changes yet.
Vaeyn's Improvement Goals
- Opponent: Understand opponent specs and their abilities better. Pay attention to Easy Mode warnings such as Mage's Temporal Shield.
- Patience: Learn patience and remember training. Watch energy level, don't Ferocious Bite below 50 energy.
- Position: Improve positioning. Hit and run melee opponents to bleed them out.
- Stealth: Better use of stealth, such as after Incarnation get extra stun with Rake. Shadowmeld Prowl as well.
- Tiger's Fury: Use at right time and get more benefit. Limited by Easy Mode macro, but try.
- Regrowth: Remember to self heal during combat when instant cast is available.
- Survival Instincts: Stop using SI when not taking damage. It's mostly a problem of anticipating damage that doesn't happen, react instead. Save SI for optimum moment... need to know opponent specs better.
- Skull Bash: Don't use it for closing distance, save for interrupts.
- Dash: Save speed boosts for combat.
- Entangling Roots: Learn to use more tactically.
- Tactics: Improve on all the above, doing the right stuff at the right time, depending on the opponent.
